Learn It!
As you begin working with any program, it is always important to begin by learning some basic features of the program. As we begin working with Excel 2010, this is also the case. Although there is a basic set of skills you will be able to transfer from what you know about Word and Access, a spreadsheet program such as Excel presents unique features that you will learn.
To begin learning more about Excel, click here to get started or follow the links below. At this site, you will notice that there are 21 lessons for you to go through to learn more about Excel. However, you need only go through the first 8 lessons - Excel Basics. Each lesson is interactive with things to click on, videos to watch, and sample Excel files to use to try out the various features that are introduced. Although we are not requiring that you submit anything for these lessons, we will test your knowledge as you begin working on your Excel projects. In addition, these lessons will provide you the information you need to complete the puzzle below.
