Framework!

  1. Open a new file.
     
  2. Change the layout of your worksheet to "Landscape" (Page layout tab > Page Setup Group > Orientation > Landscape).
     
  3. In Cell A1, input the title "[Your Name's] Current GPA"
     
  4. Then create column headings for your table.  In the following cells, type in the appropriate Headings:

    A3= Hour #
    B3= Course Title
    C3= Teacher Name
    D3= # of Credits per Class (This number should be .5 for each course)
    E3= Letter Grade
    F3= Grade Point Equivalent
    G3= Grade Points per Class
     
  5. Make each column heading font size 12 and bold. Use the "AutoFit Selection" feature to resize the width of columns A, B, and C. (Select each heading and got to Home tab > format > AutoFit Column Width).

     

  6. For columns D, E, F, & G, use the Wrap Text and Merge Cells features to wrap the text to two lines, using rows 2 and 3. Bold and change the font size to 12 and then Resize columns D, E, F, & G as needed to fit the headings in two lines.        
  7. Select cell A1 and change the font of the title to size 18 and bold. Then select cells A1 through G1 and center the title across your table headings using the "Merge and Center" function. Change the Height of Row 1 to 36.
     
  8. Using your 1st Quarter Grades on Infinite Campus, fill in the appropriate information in the first 5 columns of the chart. For "# of Credits/Class" use .5, since you receive .5 credits for every class you are in. Note: If you have a Study Hall, please skip that class hour.
     
  9. Use the following information to fill in the Grade Point Equivalent column:
    For example, if you have an B in a class, then you get 3.0 Grade Points
