Comparison
We are now going to copy and paste to combine the prediction data with the facts data and create a new worksheet following the directions below.
- Rename the Sheet3 worksheet tab "Comparisons" and color the tab a shade of purple.
- In cell A1, key the title [First Name]'s Comparisons. Change the font, color, and size to something of your choice.
- Copy the list of candy colors from a previous worksheet and paste beginning in cell A4.
- In cell B3, key "Estimate" and in cell C3, key "Actual".
- Copy and paste the appropriate data from previous worksheets to the Comparison's worksheet using the headings to assist you place your data appropriately.
- Save!
- Select the data on the Comparisons worksheet, including the Estimate and Actual labels.
- Create a Line Chart with Markers and format in an approrpriate way using the features that you have learned.
- Compose a brief paragraph (using the Wrap text feature) explaining how you did with your predictions versus what was actually in the contents on your candy package. Rate your prediction using a "letter grade" system and include it on this worksheet. (Note: When using the Wrap text feature, I think it is easiest to select the cells that you would like the text to stay within and then right-click and select Format Cells. With the Format Cells dialog box open, click on the Alignment tab and then check the Wrap Text box to turn this feature on. Somtimes I also like to click the Merge Cells box as well.)
